Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon skin-side up and sear for 4 minutes, until golden. Flip and cook 3 more minutes, then transfer to a plate.
Lower the heat to medium. Add the butter and garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice, and simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Return the salmon to the skillet, spoon the glaze over the top, and cook for another minute until sticky and glossy. Serve immediately.
